Las Vegas Eats

Las Vegas is one of my favorite places…the excitement of a big win, the variety of pools to lounge at, spa treatments, shows… and no Vegas trip is ever complete without an over indulgence on a-mazing food!

My husband and I used to go to Vegas a couple of times a year, but life gets in the way sometimes and it had been a while since we’d been.  Knowing that I’d been itching to get my fix, he surprised me at Christmas with a January trip!  It did not disappoint!  We stayed at Aria Hotel and got upgraded to a suite.  Oh my… the room was huge!!  It had 4 tvs, a dining room, 2 bathrooms and a heated toilet seat!  The spa was amazing as well and included an outdoor tranquility pool that was heated and quite private.  It was so peaceful and relaxing.  I would recommend it!

The food in Vegas, as usual, did not disappoint.  We went to Sage Restaurant on our first night  which is located in Aria.  I ordered this absolutely delicious roasted celery root and hazelnut soup with pork belly as an appetizer and could not get enough of it!

Another amazing meal was had at Le Cirque at the Bellagio Hotel (one of my favs!).  OMG… My appetizer… lobster/avocado salad.

And grand marnier souffle for dessert!

One of our favorite restaurants this trip, though I failed to snap any pics, was Javier’s at Aria. Authentic and delicious Mexican food, great ambience, and great drinks! We’ll definitely be back to Javier’s!
